I bought this as we all have ipods in our home and its not always ideal to charge ipods using the PC. This is a mains charger, quite small and compact. It has a green light showing that it is on. It does the job and is very reasonably priced too. We use it for Nano 5th Generation and Ipod Touch but it is compatible with other ipods too. Also being all white (as with the PC charger)it is easy to find this item in a drawer of chargers (all my other ones are black). Many thanks to idelta UK for arranging a speed delivery.

This product for the price is great and is far better then being ripped off by Apple however it has two very bad points. Firstly the plug has a green light that is on all the time, this means if you want to charge your ipod at night your whole room glows green. Secondly the cable is very short not much more then a metre so if you desk or shelf etc is not close to the socket it will not reach and who wants to leave an iphone on the floor. So if you don’t mind the green glow and the short cable then it’s great value and the shipping was super fast.

Quick service from supplier, as with other items purchased from them. Small and light, neat, good ‘power on’ light though too bright for the bedroom (I just cover it). Works fine. Far better value than rivals. Because Apple’s USB charging lead does not have the feature I at first failed to notice the two buttons either side of the iPod plug and thought the connector was slightly faulty. In fact this feature is excellent and helps to ensure a sound connection and easy disconnection. Just remember to press the two sides of the connector as you disconnect from the iPod.
